Brooklyn Home Management was founded in 2010 to offer neighbor-centric property management services for condo, co-op, rental and commercial buildings.  We are committed to service, affordability and community.

Principals:

John Rouse –

A former Co-op Treasurer in Brooklyn for two years.  He worked for seven years in financial services and also has experience as a carpenter’s assistant.  John has his M.A. in Economics from American University, a certificate in financial risk management from NYU-SCPS, is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York and is the proud father of John Carlito (pictured above) and Colette.

 

 

Brendan Byrnes –

Brendan is experienced in refurbishing homes and managing buildings in New York and North Carolina.  He has experience with many different components of building maintenance including complex HVAC systems, roofing systems and materials and plumbing components.  Working with vendors across several specialties, Brooklyn Home Management has a network for virtually every problem buildings in New York will face.  A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Brendan is fluent in Spanish.

 

 

Kevin Byrnes-

After earning an M.A. in Accounting from Appalachian State University, Kevin moved to New York to work in audit consulting with one of the Big Four.  Kevin’s experience and background allow him to analyze expense trends for buildings, as well as identify potential cost saving and revenue generating measures.

 

 

Phil Rouse-

Phil joined the team after a stint abroad in Uganda.  He is often on site at the buildings we manage with vendors and to do repair/capital improvement work in person.  He is an example of the hands on approach we take at Brooklyn Home Management.  Phil is a graduate of Radford University.

 

John, Brendan, Kevin, and Phil’s skills are complementary.  They are committed to working diligently day and night to make sure your Brooklyn home experience is superb.
