In short, we LOVE Brooklyn Home Management. They have been fabulous. Our building is 21 units. We struggled with finding a company for a long time. It seemed like the big, reputable ones were not interested in such a small building; they would happily take our money, but didn’t give us much attention. The smaller companies or single-guy operations didn’t prove to be reliable or meet our quality standards. We’ve had BHM since last fall, and they’ve more than met all of our expectations.

Brooklyn Home Management has done a superb job managing our building. Everything was in a state of total chaos before they showed up. They helped us put our finances in order. They have an extensive and deep knowledge of standard operating and budget practices for a building. When we need something fixed, they do research, give us several quotes, tell us which repair person they think is most competent……They are absolutely reliable–do everything they say they are going to do and more. I’m amazed by how much work they are doing, and how efficiently they are doing it. The founders, John and Brendan, are also genuinely nice, thoughtful guys–easy to talk to, very responsive and friendly. They have even served as a very effective mediator in disputes between different owners. Hire them and you won’t be sorry!

They help with EVERYTHING form accounting/finance, fixing things, finding resources to fix bigger jobs and pricing them out, researching projects for us, handling disputes between neighbors and more.
